Example
This study site is located on a long-term soil productivity (LTSP) site in the Priest River Experimental Forest in Idaho, USA, which is part of a nationwide network that was established by the USDA Forest Service to determine different forest management impacts (i.e. organic matter removal and soil compaction).
The Priest River Experimental Forest is a 2023 ha section of land located at an elevation of 715m (latitude 48°21N, longitude 116°50W). The forest habitat is an Abies grandis/Clintonia uniflora complex with a silt loam, medial, frigid Orchreptic Fragixeralf soil. (click images to see medium size versions or click links listed below).
